Senior Anna Perry Receives Academic All Star Recognition

Immaculate Conception Cathedral School senior Anna Perry has been named a Commercial Appeal Academic All Star in the Sciences category. A disciplined student, Anna holds a 4.42 weighted grade point average and scored 30 on the ACT. She has taken a solid track of Honors and Advanced Placement classes and excelled in all. After reading Ben Carson’s book "Healing Hands," Anna became interested in pursuing a career in medicine. During her sophomore year, she was a student host for Ben Carson at her former high school in Jackson, Tenn., where she was also  founding member of the school newspaper.

Anna is a member of the ICCS Mock Trial Team and was named “Best Prosecution Attorney” during competition. She has been inducted into Mu Alpha Theta, the math honor society, and the National Honor Society, where she serves as vice-president. She has received AP Scholar recognition for her scores on AP exams.  A dedicated member of the CBHS varsity cheer leading squad, Anna was instrumental in encouraging other ICCS students to become involved with the squad. Anna is a volunteer at the Dorothy Day House, American Cancer Society and Birthright.
